I have done HMR and Weight Watchers, but my fitness level was low then. I also participated in group training at Pro including general fitness classes (with Candy and Steve), Buns and Abs (with Candy), Biggest Loser (with Steve, Candy, and Brad), Get Pumped (with Brad), AM Jumpstart (with Dan).

My life has changed because fitness is now a big part of it. I make time (early morning!) to work out. Fitness is no longer an “extra” or “when I have time” activity. It’s a regular part of my day. I feel better, I have more energy, and I’m healthier overall.

Overall (and since starting), I lost about 120 lbs. There are ups and downs in there, too, but I continue to work out and I’ll get to where I want to be.

I have a lot more energy. I sleep better at night. I’m much stronger and I’m able to do things I never thought I’d be able to do. Looking back, I can’t believe how far I’ve come in terms of the intensity of my physical activity.

My advise to others is to take one step at a time. Do what YOU can do. Don’t worry about what someone else at the gym is lifting or doing. Move more today than you did yesterday. No matter your pace or the weight you lift, it’s more than you would have if you stayed home.

I don’t think I have specific fitness goal. I would like to lose the weight I gained this winter (one of those “ups” that happens), and I’d like to strengthen my weak (non-dominant) side. My balance is improving, but it could be better.
